Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is now in full swing at Magic Kingdom, and we were able to see some of the new Haunted Mansion character meet-and-greets.
Haunted Mansion Character Meet-and-Greets
Blair Lockward, chief steward of the Haunted Mansion, is one of the first characters guests will see. He welcomes everyone and hurries them along to collect the first candy of the evening. He is located on a faux brick platform underneath a green tent and dressed in the typical Haunted Mansion colors of dark green and purple.
Further down, we spotted Lady Fermotta, an all-new character from the Haunted Mansion. Located on an elevated platform decorated with vines and flowers, she is dressed in a flowy white and blue gown and talks to guests while waving her hand fan.
Another ghost host can be found on a similar platform as Blair Lockwood. She is wearing a black-and-green striped apron over a green dress and is holding a handkerchief.
Her platform is decorated with gargoyle candelabras and a plaque that reads “31,” likely referencing October 31 (Halloween) or a reference to this year being the 31st year of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
The M&M gang have also made an appearance through the use of Haunted Mansion-inspired portraits.
Notably for this year, the Grave Diggers have made a rare character appearance at the party. Dressed in dark green suits with purple vests, black ties, and white gloves, they posed stoically for a photo with Tom. They are accompanied by their infamous shovels.
The Grave Diggers are located right on the welcome street in Magic Kingdom for the party, so get here early if you want to meet them. As you can see in the previous photos, they already had a long line at the start of the party.
Stay tuned for more MNSSHP coverage tonight!
