Paint the Night Electrical Parade has ended its run at Disneyland following the conclusion park’s 70th anniversary celebration.

Final Paint the Night Performance

Paint the Night premiered at Disneyland Park in 2015 for the resort’s 60th anniversary. It’s a version of a parade that ran at Hong Kong Disneyland from 2014 to 2020. Its original Disneyland run ended in September 2016 although it returned for the holiday season and ran until January 2017.

Paint the Night then had a short run at Disney California Adventure from April to November 2018.

Seven years later, the nighttime parade returned to Disneyland in the spring of 2025 for the resort’s 70th anniversary celebration. After a break for the holiday season, it resumed performances in early 2026.

Check out more photos from May 2025 when the parade returned for a closer look at the parade floats.

The final performance of Paint the Night was on August 20, 2026.

It will be replaced by the daytime Mickey & Friends Halloween Cavalcade and then A Christmas Fantasy Parade. In 2027, the Magic Happens parade will return.
