There are lots of hotel, dining, and shopping options in Walt Disney World and in the areas surrounding it in Orlando, but soon there will be more!

Cinderella Castle

Disney previously announced that they were building the Flamingo Crossings Town Center, located just off of the Walt Disney World property, which would contain hotels, stores (including a Target!), and restaurants, and today we’ve got more details about the places you’ll be able to visit when this shopping center opens!

According to The Business Journals — Orlando Business Journal, Disney has released 9 more tenants coming to its NEW 200,000 square foot Flamingo Crossroads Town Center project in west Orange County, Orlando. The new tenants include:

  • Wendy’s
  • Five Below
  • Domino’s
  • Ellie Lou’s Brews & BBQ
  • Firehouse Sub
  • Persimmon Hollow Brewing Co.
  • Pieology Pizzeria
  • Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ
  • UPS store

So, from getting fast food to shipping your packages, you’ll be able to get a little bit of everything in this shopping center.

Disney shared via a press release that these locations will join the previously announced shops and restaurants which include Target, PDQ, Five Guys, Ben & Jerry’s, and Dunkin. A Walgreens store is also currently being constructed on an outparcel. A Speedway gas station was also named in previous plans.

The Flamingo Crossings development is also set to be home to several hotels including SpringHill Suites by Mariott and TownePlace Suites by Mariott (both of which are open and operating already), as well as 4 additional resorts that are under construction (including Fairfield and Residence Inn by Mariott, and Homewood Suites and Home2 Suites by Hilton). Those hotels under construction are expected to be operating next year. Hampton by Hilton is also under development and scheduled to be completed later in 2021.

The concept art released by Disney shows what the area is meant to look like in the future.

A timeline for the 9 new tenants has not been provided yet, but many other parts of the shopping center (including the Target) are set to be done in 2021. This new shopping center will be a great option for guests to stay at, shop at, and eat at in the future. We’ll definitely keep an eye out for future updates and let you know as more of this area opens and becomes available.
