So much new stuff is coming to Disney World that it’s been almost impossible to keep track of everything. The parks are getting new lands and big expansions, new rides are on the way, older rides are set to be updated, and y’all…it’s a LOT.
Of course, we’re most excited about new restaurants coming to Disney World, and we’re happy to report that one new restaurant just took a BIG step that brings it closer to its opening day.
We’ve been tracking the construction process of Hurly-Burly, Disney World’s new lounge at Disney’s BoardWalk ahead of its official opening date on October 1st. As that is coming up soon, progress is coming along pretty quickly now, and as of today, we saw a HUGE sign that we’re getting closer to the lounge’s grand opening. A new SIGN appeared along the top of the building’s entrance, letting the world know that this is Hurly-Burly.
It’s official now, right? Hurly-Burly will be a family-friendly space in the afternoons for activities like trivia and other games. However, at night, starting at 9 P.M., the space will become a 21-and-over venue with live music and “coastal-inspired cocktails.”
Disney also recently shared the menu for Hurly-Burly, including cocktails like the Overproof Amaretto Sour, Caramel Corn Old Fashioned, Cherry-Vodka Limeade, and more. The menu also features a selection of non-alcoholic beverages.
The menu also features some Small Bites…yes, you’ll be able to order food there, too! You can select from small plates like meatballs in tomato gravy, antipasto, mini-pretzels with bacon-cheese fondue, and more.
We’ll be keeping an eye out for more Hurly-Burly updates and will be there on opening day to check it out, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
