Toy Story 5 was a HUGE hit in theaters, and we might even say it’s one of our absolute favorite Toy Story movies of all time. We’re also STOKED that one of the new characters in the movie, Lilypad, will be showing up soon at a ride in Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Well, if you’ve been looking for an excuse to watch Toy Story 5 again, you’re in luck…the movie is coming to Disney+ NEXT WEEK. Yep, that’s even sooner than we thought, and we are ready!

If you want to watch Toy Story 5 on Disney+ at home (or on the go), you can do so as of September 23rd. The movie focuses on Jessie, whose child gets a new toy, Lilypad, which threatens to disrupt playtime with all the other toys. The movie does a great job of exploring how high-tech toys can pose challenges for kids while showing how traditional toys can adapt.

Disney quietly revealed the news when it announced that Lilypad would be added to Alien Swirling Saucers in Hollywood Studios. Lilypad will join the ride as a new addition, spinning tunes, including classic Toy Story songs, as well as some new songs. She’ll also be hyping and introducing tracks as well as offering entertainment between songs, like asking guests to guess what she’s doodling on her drawing app, getting guests to help unscramble puzzles, and showing “home videos” of all her Toy Story pals.

Lilypad will be joining Alien Swirling Saucers on September 25th, just two days after Toy Story 5 lands on Disney+. We’ll be checking out the new version of the ride when it opens, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
