Disney Quietly Announces MAJOR Reservation Change for New Lounge at Magic Kingdom

Disney World’s Magic Kingdom has seen so many changes this year, and even more are on the horizon. The Diamond Horseshoe will transform into a cowboy-themed lounge for a limited time this fall!

Diamond Horseshoe

The Diamond Horseshoe will open on October 4th with a brand-new menu, and reservations open on September 29th. But Disney just majorly changed the reservation process!

To book a dining reservation at most Disney World restaurants, booking opens at 6 AM Eastern Time. But when we checked out the Diamond Horseshoe’s page on the Disney World website, Disney quietly announced that reservations will open at 8 PM Eastern Time on September 29th, not the usual 6 AM. While you don’t have to set your alarm anymore, be sure to mark your calendar to snag a reservation!

If you’re unable to snag a reservation, The Diamond Horseshoe will welcome walk-ins after the reopening, so you might be able to grab a table. The restaurant used to put out a sign like this one on slow days, so make sure to keep an eye out for it!

Once it reopens, The Diamond Horseshoe will serve a Wild West-inspired menu of small bites and drinks:
