Recreation schedules are now viewable via QR codes at some Walt Disney World Resort hotels.

At Disney’s Polynesian Resort and Disney’s Old Key West Resort, guests can now find sandwich boards with scannable QR codes linking to resort recreation activity schedules throughout the properties. We spotted this QR code board on property on September 19.

Previously, we’d only seen one other QR code board: this easel at Disney’s Old Key West Resort, seen here on September 12. This QR code system appears to be steadily rolling out to additional resorts.

Original Recreation Schedules at Walt Disney World Resorts

Normally, daily activity schedules are publicly posted on signage around the resort properties. Recreation activities at resorts throughout Walt Disney World Resorts include lawn games, campfires, craft classes, tie-dye sessions, sing-a-longs, trivia, movies under the stars, and more. While some activities are free, others are available at an additional cost and require prior reservations.

Guests do not have to be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort to participate in these activities.
