A report from Puck News confirms the Walt Disney Company will have more layoffs in late September and shares the affected departments.
Disney Layoffs Happening at End of Month

The information comes from Puck News journalist Matthew Belloni, who noted the layoff rumors in his “What I’m Hearing” entertainment news column:
And about those new Disney layoff rumors…: Yes, Disney is planning more staff reductions for the end of this month. But no, this isn’t the big television division consolidation many have speculated. These cuts are more limited and focused in H.R., product/tech, and other operations functions, per sources. (Disney declined to comment.)

In April, The Walt Disney Company laid off approximately 1,000 employees, including marketing and branding teams and about 8% of Marvel Entertainment’s workforce. That was followed by another round in July, affecting hundreds of employees across Pixar, ESPN, Disney Entertainment Television (DET), and more studios.
In August, Variety reported that Disney was offering director-level or higher executives a time-limited early retirement package as layoffs have continued throughout the year.
