Walt Disney World has filed a permit with a two-year expiration date in the Adventureland area of Magic Kingdom.

The permit contracts MLC Theming, Inc. for “General Construction” at 4851 Caribbean Way, which is linked to the Adventureland Popcorn Cart. Guests can find this snack location between Jungle Cruise and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin. However, this permit could be referencing the general area, not the popcorn cart specifically. Official work for the area has not yet been announced or seen.

Filed on September 21, 2026, the permit expires on August 31, 2028, almost one year longer than most permits, which typically have a one year expiration date.

MLC’s specialties include “scenic painting and aging of structures, fabricating facades, carving rock work.” Their portfolio mostly showcases rock work and themed structures.

Last month, MLC was listed on a permit for The Haunted Mansion, also located in Magic Kingdom.
