While 2026 isn’t quite over yet — we still have a whole holiday season to get through — many Disney World guests have already turned their calendars to 2027 to begin planning their next trip to the “Most Magical Place on Earth” … and they’re going back and forth on which discount they’re going to use to save money!

Right now, Disney is offering two MAJOR discounts (there are also discounts available for Disney Visa Cardholders and Annual Passholders) for trips in 2027. How do they compare? Let’s find out!

Option 1: 25% Off on Rooms in the Spring

First off, Disney is offering guests the ability to save up to 25% on select rooms for stays on select nights from January 3rd to April 29th.

Guests can save 20% on rooms for stays most Sunday to Thursday nights from January 3rd to February 25th and 25% on rooms for stays most nights from February 28th to April 29th at the following hotels:

Option 2: Save $250 a Night

The 25% savings aren’t the only offer Disney has available for next year. The company is also offering savings of $250 per night on select 4-night, 4-day (or longer) Walt Disney Travel Company room-and-ticket packages for stays on select nights from January 3rd to July 28th, 2027.

For select 4-night, 4-day (or longer) room-and-ticket packages, guests can save $150 per night for stays most Sunday to Thursday nights from January 3rd to February 25th, and $250 per night for stays most nights from February 28th to July 28th at the following hotels:

So, let’s compare the two! For our example, we looked at a hypothetical trip at the Contemporary, with a check-in date of March 15th and a check-out date of March 19th.

When looking at the $250-a-Night discount, the total package cost was $3,888:

In comparison, the 25% Off Discount total for the same room during the same period was $579.38:

However, of course, the latter doesn’t include theme park tickets. If a full trip’s worth of park tickets are added, it jumps up to $4144.15:

So in general, which discount will save more will likely be dependent on how many — if any — days a guest wants to dedicate to Disney World’s theme parks during their stay.
