Disney Wonders is now open at Disneyland Paris. The new shopping experience is located at Disney Village and replaces the last Disney Store location in France. However, fans are not happy with the changes that have been made, including the lack of Disney details and theming.
Disney Wonders Opens at Disneyland Paris
A video shared on Disneyland Paris’ official Instagram page took viewers inside the new store, showing off the decor and what guests can purchase there.
Disney Wonders offers a wide range of souvenirs, including mystery boxes, plush, home decor, apparel, and more.
When it comes to the decor seen around Disney Wonders, it features many screens and portraits that showcase Disney Characters, including Alice from Alice in Wonderland, Pooh and Christopher Robin from Winnie the Pooh, and Hiro and Baymax from Big Hero 6. Within these screens, Tinker Bell could also be seen moving from one screen to another.
Portraits could be seen dangling from the ceiling, which featured characters from Bambi, Lady and the Tramp, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and more.

Fans Outraged with Changes
However, guests are expressing their distaste with the new changes. The Disney Store had a lot of color, theming, and even a center display that moved (as seen above). Disney Wonders focuses a lot on screens and a gray color palette.
On social media, @GreenCheetah99 posted a before and after along with the caption “Disney what on earth is wrong with you?”
Commenters agreed. “this is mouse gears -> connections all over again” and “Can the blandification/Apple Store core just die please? We yearn for whimsy & again.” are just a few of the sentiments expressed on social media.
Disney Wonders opened on September 22 and was announced in April 2025. It replaced the last Disney Store in France.
