Disney Vacation Club Members have three more opportunities to enjoy Moonlight Magic at Walt Disney World in 2026, including two events during the fall and holiday season at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The newly added dates include one night at EPCOT on October 15, 2026, followed by Disney’s Animal Kingdom on November 30 and December 22, 2026. These complimentary after-hours events are available to eligible Disney Vacation Club Members and their guests, with registration required and space limited.
Here’s the new fall lineup:
- EPCOT: October 15, 2026
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: November 30, 2026
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: December 22, 2026
What Is DVC Moonlight Magic?
Moonlight Magic is one of my very favorite Disney Vacation Club perks because it gives eligible Members access to a Disney theme park after regular park hours without purchasing a separate event ticket. These evenings typically include shorter-than-usual waits for select attractions, special character greetings, entertainment, and complimentary treats.
And Animal Kingdom after dark is a particularly good place for it. Pandora – The World of Avatar takes on an entirely different personality at night, and having an opportunity to explore the park with a limited number of fellow DVC Members makes these events feel quite different from an ordinary park day.
That December 22 event immediately caught my attention. Having a complimentary DVC after-hours event to attend just three days before Christmas could be a pretty great bonus for Members who already have a Walt Disney World holiday vacation planned.
Registration Opens Soon
If you’re eligible and want to attend, you’ll want to pay attention to the registration dates because Moonlight Magic events typically fill quickly.
Early registration opens September 24, 2026, for eligible Members who had a qualifying Disney Resort hotel reservation in place by September 20, 2026. General registration opens October 1, 2026, for other eligible Members, with limited availability.
Members can register for one of these additional event dates even if they’ve already attended a Moonlight Magic event earlier in 2026, which is especially fabulous news for anyone who thought they’d already used their opportunity for the year.
Members should review the eligibility requirements carefully before registration opens, as Moonlight Magic is considered a Disney Vacation Club Membership Extra and isn’t available with every type of DVC ownership.
