Ravensburger revealed the latest Disney Lorcana set, “Hyperia City,” which introduces Coco to the popular trading card game alongside a new ink drop mechanic.
‘Hyperia City’
“Hyperia City” is both the name and the setting of the 14th Disney Lorcana set. On the official website, Hyperia City — derived from Hyperion Studio, the original pre-Burbank home of Disney’s animation studios — is described as a metropolis of magic, music, and art with a wicked underbelly:
Here you can join the likes of heroes, princesses, and a magical wizard or two. Music and art bring these animated streets to life, but something nefarious is also happening in the back alleys and waterways.
‘Coco’ Glimmers Join Lorcana in Hyperia City
Take this bridge and you’ll end up in a place brimming with light and music. Cards inspired by the film Coco reward you for remembering past glimmers. In this card’s case, if you have 10 or more cards that “passed on” into your discard pile, this location will give you a few extra lore.

New Ink Drop Mechanic
“Hyperia City” also introduces a new mechanic to Disney Lorcana: ink drops. Ink drops are an expendable, counter-based resource that allows players to pay 1 ink instead of discarding cards into their Inkwell to build their repository of ink.
There are also unique card interactions involving ink drops, such as on the Sword in the Stone-inspired “Higitus Figutis” card.
Prerelease and Release Dates
The “Hyperia City” set for Disney Lorcana drops in prerelease on October 14, 2026, and everywhere on October 23. Search for prerelease events at local game stores on the official website.
Along with a prerelease box, “Hyperia City” will also be available in an Illumineer’s Trove (a full art box with 8 booster packs, 6 damage dice, and more) and in booster packs, which can be purchased in full display box sets.
Disney Lorcana
The Disney-based trading card game Lorcana has continued to grow in popularity. At D23, an official Lorcana panel discussed how the TCG will be featured at more Disney events and Park locations in 2027 and beyond — including at the 2027 EPCOT Festival of the Arts,
Ravensburger staff also made a surprise announcement that a digital version of Disney Lorcana TCG, playable on desktop and mobile, is officially “in the works.”
