The famous “it’s a small world” clock at Magic Kingdom is currently not working and will take over three weeks to repair.

The clock features a smiling face, which usually turns back and forth as flowers and gears across the façade spin. A literal clock next to the face features spinning hands. Every fifteen minutes, the doors are supposed to open, revealing the current time on large blocks.

The clock has not been operational since at least Tuesday night, September 22. According to a Cast Member, Disney has ordered new parts, but they won’t arrive for three weeks. That means the clock will be still unavailable until well into October.

This comes amid ongoing maintenance issues at “it’s a small world” including grimy and discolored walls, peeling and cracked surfaces, and burnt-out light bulbs.
