The face painting kiosk at Disney Springs will soon close, potentially permanently.

Cast Members said the kiosk will be closing Friday, September 25. They do not know the reason for the closure, if it’s permanent, or if the kiosk will move to a new location at Disney Springs.

The face painting kiosk is located outside Marketplace Co-Op near the permanent Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop. The latter is going through a major refurbishment, which could necessitate the kiosk’s closure.

It’s possible Disney is also planning a refurbishment of the kiosk itself or the exterior of Marketplace Co-Op. The interior has received new flooring.
