By the time you’re done hearing about this Disney World treat, you’re going to be out of your house, buckled up in your car, and on your way to EPCOT!
What is this glorious treat?!
We traveled all the way to France to try a brand-new treat…ok, the France Pavilion in EPCOT, but we might as well have been in actual France the way that this tasted. Secretly, we want to have all of these to ourselves, but we’re going to be strong and not gatekeep so you can try this!
If you head over to the France Pavilion on EPCOT’s World Showcase, you’ll come across Les Halles Boulangerie Pâtisserie. There are very few dining places that are open before 11 AM in EPCOT, or in most of Disney World for that matter. This, however, is one of those spots, so it’s a popular place for breakfast!

When we say popular, we mean POPULAR. The line can get quite long. For this new treat, the Pistachio Raspberry Cake, we ended up waiting 40 minutes. That being said, we would totally add this to breakfast or lunch or dinner, because we’re obsessed with it!

You can get the Pistachio Raspberry Cake for $6.95, and come to think of it, obsessed is an understatement for this treat. This is so fun, light, and very summer-like. We know that the fall season has begun, but the weather here has not agreed with that. So, we’re enjoying a little more summer with this dessert.

There are three soft layers of cake. A layer of raspberry, and then two layers of the pistachio, and it is SO good. None of the flavors are super bold or bright. In fact, we found they were all subtle and soft. This was also only seven dollars, and while it’s not a huge treat, this is meant to add onto your meal that you’re already getting at this restaurant.
You need to try this!
In the jam, we can feel the seeds of the raspberry, but it’s not in an appetizing way. It’s just to remind you that fresh raspberries were used, and we’re here for it. There are no nuts on top, so if you don’t like the texture of nuts, there’s nothing to worry about here. The whole thing is also very soft.
We can’t get enough
The cake is bright and acidic, and we’re assuming lemon, but technically that’s not listed anywhere. We think the whole family will enjoy this because none of the flavors are too bold. Overall, this thing is delicious, and we’d like to put it on record that we will be getting this again…and again…and again…you get the idea.
