Lilypad is now spinning tunes on Alien Swirling Saucers at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Toy Story 5 character was installed last week after Disney announced she would be the ride’s new DJ.

Lilypad in Toy Story Land
Lilypad is in a flowerbed outside Alien Swirling Saucers. Her arrival follows Disney filing a set installation permit for the area a few months ago.
Guests walking by can listen to her music and participate in activities. When music is playing, a record graphic displays on Lilypad’s screen. A red album featuring Buzz represents “Strange Things.” The blue album featuring Forky plays “I Can’t Let You Throw Yourself Away.”
A black album with the iconic Pixar ball plays “You’ve Got a Friend in Me.” Another red record with an image of Woody and Bullseye plays “Ride Like the Wind, Bullseye!” These are remixed versions of the original tracks that guests can also hear when riding Alien Swirling Saucers.
One of Lilypad’s new songs, created just for Alien Swirling Saucers, is “Spin It Back, Lilypad.” This plays with a green record featuring an image of Lilypad herself.
Another brand-new track is “Pizza Planet Promo,” a theme song for the famous pizza restaurant. The record appropriately looks like a pizza with a Little Green Alien in the center.
The “Partysaurus Rex Anthem” is a surprise addition. Partysaurus Rex is a 2012 Toy Story short film in which Rex tries to embrace his fun side. Since the short’s release, Partysaurus Rex has appeared at Disney Parks for special meet and greets.
Another surprise addition is an instrumental version of “I Knew It, I Knew You.” The song was written and performed by Taylor Swift for Toy Story 5.
A third red album featuring artwork of several Toy Story characters plays “We Belong Together.”
The playlist is interspersed with activities and graphics. Games include guessing what character Lilypad is doodling in her drawing app.
Guests can help her unscramble puzzles depicting different Toy Story characters, including Partysaurus Rex.
Lilypad will sometimes display “home videos,” like this one of Forky and Karen Beverly’s wedding.
We witnessed a text message thread between Lilypad and Smarty Pants.
Between games and music, Lilypad displays greetings in different languages.
Alien Swirling Saucers Marquee
The Alien Swirling Saucers marquee has a new “Lilypad Jams” banner resembling a giant friendship bracelet. This follows another permit filed this summer.
Lilypad’s face is one of the charms. A butterfly is at the other end of the beads.
Updated Alien Swirling Saucers Soundtrack
Guests riding Alien Swirling Saucers get to hear a random song. The updated soundtrack includes reimagined versions of “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” “We Belong Together,” and “I Can’t Let You Throw Yourself Away.”
The ride’s brand-new original songs are “Pizza Planet Promo” and “Spin It Back, Lilypad.”
“Partysaurus Rex Anthem” and “I Knew It, I Knew You” were also added.
Other songs guests may hear include “Ride Like the Wind, Bullseye!”, “Zu-Zu (Ken’s Theme)”, “When She Loved Me”, “Strange Things”, and “Emperor Zurg’s Planet.”
