Walt Disney World and the University of Central Florida are bringing a little extra magic to college football with a new sponsorship that will put the Walt Disney World logo right on the UCF Knights’ football helmets.

The partnership was revealed Friday in a joint social media post from Walt Disney World and UCF Athletics with a very short message: “College Football’s Magical Sponsorship.” Thankfully, the photos do a lot more talking. UCF’s familiar gold football helmet now features the Walt Disney World logo prominently across the back, just above the player’s neck.

The images released with the announcement show the new helmet sitting in front of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom, along with UCF’s gold, black, and white helmets lined up together on Main Street, U.S.A.

Another photo shows the helmet displayed on the sword in Fantasyland, because apparently when Disney World and the Knights get together, we’re going all in on the theming.

UCF Athletic Director Terry Mohajir summed up the partnership in one of the images shared with the announcement.

Walt Disney World is part of the fabric of Central Florida, and we are incredibly proud to feature its logo on our football helmets.

The timing is especially fun for UCF fans. The Knights are preparing to open their 2026 Big 12 Conference schedule Saturday, September 26, against TCU at Acrisure Bounce House in Orlando. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET.

UCF is currently 2-1 after wrapping up non-conference play with a 44-30 win over Georgia State. Saturday will also mark the first time the Knights have opened Big 12 play at home since joining the conference.

For Disney fans watching the game, that means there will now be a very familiar logo mixed in with all that black and gold. And really, Cinderella Castle makes a surprisingly great backdrop for a football helmet, don’t you think?
