Orlando International Airport (MCO) shared a heads up that they will conduct a training exercise this afternoon, September 25, and travelers may see emergency responders.

The exercise will take place beneath Gates 1-29 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. They said on social media, “Travelers may notice first responders and emergency response vehicles in the area. This is an exercise and will not impact airport operations.”
A rescue team training exercise was held in July.
Orlando International Airport is the main airport serving Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort guests. Disney offers luggage transfer service to and from the airport for select airlines.
This summer, the airport revealed renovation plans estimated at $351 Million. These improvements are part of phased changes to the airport, including an upcoming atrium update and the addition of several new dining options.
