First Look at Hurly-Burly Nighttime Entertainment at Disney's BoardWalk

Disney invited WDWNT to a preview of Hurly-Burly, a new jazz club at Disney’s BoardWalk offering a variety of entertainment and menu items. During today’s preview, we got to see three different bands perform.

Hurly-Burly, which takes over the former JellyRolls location at Disney’s Boardwalk, will open to guests on October 1.

After almost 30 years at Disney’s BoardWalk, JellyRolls piano bar closed in the Spring of 2025. WDWNT first reported the rumor of JellyRolls closing in October 2024.

The venue’s transformation turns it into a historic seaside theater, once the home of the BoardWalk’s most celebrated vaudeville performers. Now, nearly a hundred years later, Hurly-Burly is opening its doors once again with entertainment offerings, vintage drinks, and light bites inspired by an era of world-class performances and nautical novelty.

As part of the preview, we’ve gotten a first look inside the jazz club and some of the menu offerings. A full list of the menu options can be found here.

Hurly-Burly Bands

Once it’s 9 p.m. in the evening, the venue becomes exclusive to guest 21 and older and the lounge comes to life with performances by a rotating selection of bands from different genres.

We were informed the following bands would be performing once the venue opens: Sia and the Tin Pan, American Siren, Velvet Soul, Velvet Neon, and a Top 40 band. An official schedule has not been released yet.

During today’s preview, we were able to watch Sia and the Tin Pan, Velvet Soul, and Velvet Neon perform.

Sia and the Tin Pan

Sia and the Tin Pan consists of a main singer and three musicians playing tenor saxophone, drums, and upright bass.

Velvet Soul

Velvet Soul is a Motown group with a main singer and three back-up singers.

Velvet Neon

The third group we saw perform was Velvet Neon, consisting of a main singer, two guitarists, and a percussionist.
