Walt Disney World Files Construction Permits for Pirates of the Caribbean

Disney filed two construction permits for Pirates of the Caribbean at Magic Kingdom, likely for maintenance.

The permits were filed by Disney’s Sourcing & Procurement team. One is for 4873B Caribbean Way, the facade and queue of the ride, while the other is for 4875 Caribbean Way, the actual show building.

They contract Buena Vista Construction Company, Disney’s in-house construction company, to “Provide labor, materials and/or electrical for construction”.

Disney hasn’t announced a closure of Pirates of the Caribbean, but one could be on the horizon. Or Disney is planning to perform refurbishment work after hours.
