Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom are both closed for unknown reasons.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure & Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Downtime

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure closed at about 10:11 a.m. An hour later, we noticed the ride’s water had been mostly drained. It was soon after refilled but the ride has not resumed operations.

We saw empty log vehicles lined up near the beginning of the ride.

Cast Members told us the downtime was due to “technical difficulties” and they did not have a timeframe for reopening. As of publishing, it has been closed for almost four hours.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad went down just before 1 p.m. and remains closed an hour later. The rides are close to each other in the park, but we don’t know if the closures are related.
