Sony has revealed the release date for digital and physical copies of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, starring Tom Holland and Zendaya.

‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Digital and Physical Release

The 2026 superhero film will be released on Digital-HD platforms on Tuesday, October 6. However, fans who want a physical copy will have to wait a bit longer. 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD copies will be released on Tuesday, December 15. Traditional and collectible editions will also be available.

The physical copies also include behind-the-scenes content and interviews with the cast.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day continues Peter Parker’s story after Doctor Strange’s spell caused the world to forget his identity at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Making History

Earlier this month, Spider-Man: Brand New Day surpassed Star Wars: The Force Awakens to become the highest-grossing movie ever at the domestic box office.

At the time of writing, the film has earned $936.77 million domestically. The record held by The Force Awakens was $936.66 million.

Brand New Day had already become Sony’s highest-grossing film of all time. It’s also the third highest-grossing film globally, where it’s expected to stay in the ranking.

Its global earnings so far are $2.453 billion.

Along with Holland and Zendaya, the film also stars Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, Florence Pugh, and Tramell Tillman. It was directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.
