The Walt Disney World Railroad is currently closed for refurbishment at Walt Disney World, and we can confirm that track at the Main Street station is being replaced.
Walt Disney World Railroad Refurbishment

The Walt Disney World Railroad has been closed since September 28 and won’t reopen until October 30.
All but one entrance is blocked off, which still gives guests access to the new collectible medallions machine on the second floor of the station.

Rolling planters are placed on the platform, and we can confirm that the Main Street station track is being replaced. It was not replaced during the previous refurbishment in 2024.
After it reopens, it will continue operating in shuttle mode, which means it only goes back and forth between Main Street, U.S.A. and Storybook Circus. The Frontierland station is closed due to construction of Piston Peak National Park and Disney Villains land.
