The Disney Dreamers Academy launched its program expansion with a special event at the Walt Disney World Clubhouse in Orlando.

The Disney Dreamers Academy recently announced its program expansion, aiming to empower more young people in their communities and at Walt Disney World through mentorship and career development opportunities.
The Disney Dreamers Academy has partnered with the Boys & Girls Clubs for decades, and this program expansion will create more after-school opportunities, including programs at the Club’s Rock Star Robotics Center.
This kickoff event was held at the Walt Disney World Clubhouse in Orlando. 50 students from Central Florida, along with community leaders and Disney VoluntEARS, attended the event.
The event included character meet-and-greets, Mickey ear personalization, and more.
“My favorite part of the night was when Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse came to celebrate with us,” said Disney Dreamer, Carlota. “I feel honored to be here. I’m very happy and excited for everything this program has to offer me.”
This kickoff celebration is one of four events launching this new chapter of the Disney Dreamers Academy. The other three events will take place in Miami, Atlanta, and Houston with similar Walt Disney World park activities.
