Mickey and Minnie Vacation Fun Animated Short in Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World is closing again after only being reopened recently from another closure.

Mickey and Minnie Vacation Fun Closing Again

Vacation Fun – An Original Animated Short with Mickey & Minnie, shown at the Mickey Shorts theater in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, was recently closed for six weeks so the theater could host distribution of the Kermit Annual Passholder magnet from August 11 to September 24.

Originally, Vacation Fun was set to reopen on September 27 after Disney had listed hours for shows on the app, but instead, the theater remained closed and did not open until the next day.

Currently, on the app, it says Vacation Fun will temporarily close starting October 28. Disney has not given a reason for the closure, but we can speculate it may be because of Disney Jollywood Nights.

Vacation Fun also closed temporarily from late October through December 2025. During this closure, the location served as a merchandise shop for Disney Jollywood Nights. If this is the reason, guests can expect Vacation Fun to remain closed through late December, early January.

Vacation Fun has also closed for Star Wars May the 4th event merchandise, in addition to Disney Jollywood Nights and the Kermit the Frog Annual Passholder magnet distribution.
