Orlando International Airport has expanded the entry hours for its Experience MCO Visitor Pass Program, giving non-ticketed visitors significantly more time to shop, dine, and even accompany friends and family beyond security.
Experience MCO Visitor Pass Hours Expanded

Approved visitors can now enter MCO’s post-security terminals between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. The previous entry window ran from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., meaning the airport has doubled the available window from six hours to twelve.
Participants are still required to exit all terminals by 8 p.m. However, the earlier starting time gives visitors up to four additional hours in the morning, while the later cutoff allows entry for two additional hours in the evening.
The free Experience MCO Visitor Pass Program allows members of the non-traveling public to access the secure areas of Terminals A, B, and C. Visitors can explore the airport’s shops and restaurants, escort friends or family members to their gates, or meet arriving travelers beyond security.
Applications can be submitted online up to seven days before the planned visit. Availability is limited, and passes are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to approval by the Transportation Security Administration.
Applicants receive their approval status after midnight on the day of their visit. Approved guests must present the digital visitor pass and a TSA-approved photo ID, such as a passport or REAL ID, at the security checkpoint. Printed passes are not accepted.
Participants must use the standard TSA screening line and follow the same security rules as ticketed passengers, including restrictions on liquids and prohibited items. TSA PreCheck, CLEAR, and MCO Reserve cannot be used with the visitor pass. The pass also does not allow visitors to exit and re-enter the secure area.
The Experience MCO program returned and expanded to all three passenger terminals in December 2025. MCO also recently placed the first of four new Gate Link trams into service as part of a larger airport modernization effort, giving locals and MCO regulars another reason to consider touring the terminals at their leisure.
