Walt Disney World has introduced a cozier upgrade to familiar graphic T-shirt designs with three new pullover sweatshirts. These new arrivals feature retro-inspired artwork celebrating Orange Bird, The Muppets, and more.
Orange Bird Sweatshirt – $49.99
This sweatshirt gives Orange Bird a vintage collegiate-inspired look.
The sweatshirt is a muted sage green color with a large graphic across the front. “ORANGE BIRD” is displayed in oversized orange and yellow varsity-style lettering, while “19” and “71” appear on either side of the artwork, referencing the year Walt Disney World opened.
Orange Bird sits in the center of the design, surrounded by a green leafy wreath. A small banner beneath him reads “CLASSIC,” while a Walt Disney World logo appears at the bottom.
The retro styling is a perfect fit for Orange Bird, who has been associated with Walt Disney World since the resort opened in 1971. Disney originally created the character as a mascot for the Florida Citrus Commission, which sponsored the Enchanted Tiki Room and Sunshine Tree Terrace at Magic Kingdom.
This isn’t Orange Bird’s first appearance on recent Walt Disney World apparel. Disney’s Old Key West Resort has a collection of resort-inspired Orange Bird merchandise, as well as some generic Old Key West apparel and items inspired by the resort’s bar.
Classic Muppets Sweatshirt – $49.99
This sweatshirt takes things in a more traditional direction with a navy blue design featuring several beloved Muppets.
A large circular orange graphic sits in the center of the sweatshirt, with Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Animal, Rowlf, and Beaker all gathered together. “The Muppets” appears above the character artwork in a vintage-inspired orange and yellow logo.
The timing of the new Muppets apparel is particularly fitting for Walt Disney World fans. The resort has continued to embrace the beloved characters following the closure of Muppet*Vision 3D and Muppets Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Muppets have since taken over Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster. The Muppet Show 50th anniversary collection was released earlier in 2026.
Walt Disney World Holiday Sweatshirt – $49.99
This last sweatshirt offers a festive take on Walt Disney World, with a playful holiday design on a classic black sweatshirt. Last year, it was released as a T-shirt.
The front features the words “Walt Disney World” in colorful, Christmas-inspired lettering. The design incorporates candy-cane stripes, holiday patterns, and other seasonal details throughout the lettering. A Mickey-shaped graphic is also incorporated into the design, adding a classic Disney touch to the festive artwork.
All three sweatshirts are available at Emporium in Magic Kingdom.
