Themed lanterns have been removed from the area outside Feathered Friends in Flight! at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Lanterns Removed at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

During our visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom today, October 5, we noticed the lanterns strung on the strands of lights outside of the Feathered Friends in Flight! were missing.

The lanterns were colorful and in bright patterns of pink, green, yellow, and orange, as seen in a previous photo above.

Currently, the light strands are still up, and the colorful lightbulbs are still present.

It is currently unclear if this is a simple refresh or refurbishment to the lanterns or if the lanterns could be gone permanently. We will keep an eye on them to see if they return.

Do you hope the lanterns make a return? Let us know on social media.
