Walt Disney World Annual Passholders and other guests with merchandise discounts can no longer apply that discount to bottled beverages at gift shops.

Bottled Water & Soda Discount Discontinued

Before now, Passholders could use their 20% merchandise discount on bottled sodas, waters, etc. that they purchased at a Disney-owned store.

As of Tuesday, October 6, this is no longer the case. Guests must pay full-price for the bottled beverages. We confirmed with multiple Cast Members.

The bottled soda and water discount has been available for a very long time, at around the same time as merchandise discounts. It’s been a money-saving “hack” for Passholders, spread by word-of-mouth before social media.

The change comes amid price increases across Walt Disney World Resort, including on Annual Passes and tickets. Food and beverages have also increased, as well as select tours and dessert parties.
