The countdown to Avengers: Doomsday ticks ever downward, and Cinemark has shared the collector novelties that will be released for the Marvel Cinematic Universe event.
Cinemark ‘Doomsday’ Popcorn Bucket and Cup
Discussing Film shared the first look at two novelties on its X account, citing them as coming from Cinemark, although we don’t know if they’re exclusive to that theater chain yet.
The first is a popcorn bucket sculpted into Doctor Doom’s hooded metal mask with glowing green eyes. The image does not show where it opens to hold popcorn, but it’s most likely on the back of the head.
The drink cup is even more elaborate, featuring Doctor Doom sitting on an imposing stone throne carved with geometric symbology. Embossed above him in the “stone” are the Avengers and Fantastic Four logos. Translucent green parts are visible on the top, and it also comes with a green straw.
‘Avengers: Doomsday’
The next big crossover movie event in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avengers: Doomsday comes out in theaters on December 18, 2026, but is already breaking records. Last month, Doomsday became the earliest movie to earn over $50 million in domestic ticket presales three months before its release date, while the trailer is Disney’s most-viewed ever.
Kevin Feige, the President of Marvel Studios, has confirmed that one character will anchor the story of the MCU event film, and it’s not the titular villain (played by Robert Downey, Jr.). Meanwhile, Doomsday directors Anthony and Joe Russo confirmed that some of the upcoming film’s cast have still not been announced, even at this late date.
