Sunshine Tree Terrace at Magic Kingdom has a new treat: the Orange Bird Sunshine Twist. We gave it a try and found it to be a disappointment. Read our full review.
Orange Bird Sunshine Twist – $8.49
DOLE Whip Orange and Vanilla Soft-serve with Orange Crispy Pearls and Orange Bird Sugar Cookie

On its own, the vanilla and orange ice cream and is very good. It’s a staple for this location, and other treats at Sunshine Tree Terrace do feature the orange flavor.

Unfortunately, the Orange Bird sugar cookie is stale and not as soft as you would think. The crunchy pearls tasted like orange cereal, which is just okay but not necessarily a worthy addition to this treat.

It does have a pretty presentation, but the actual treat is a bit of a disappointment.
Rating out of 7: 4

If this was a float, we think it would be a much better option. In addition, this is $3 more than a regular Soft-serve cup. $3 for a stale cookie and pearls is a bit much, in our opinion. We would recommend the I Lava You Float still, which is a $1 less expensive and tastes better.
