Disney Cruise Line announced two family restaurants returning to the Disney Believe: World of Marvel and 1923.
Worlds of Marvel On The Disney Believe
The Worlds of Marvel is described as an “innovative restaurant with some of the mightiest Super Heroes in a larger-than-life showcase of revolutionary quantum technology and world-class cuisine.”
The restaurant currently has locations on the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny. Now, Worlds of Marvel will be adding its fourth location onboard the Disney Believe, starting with its maiden voyage in 2027.
1923 On The Disney Believe
1923 is a restaurant named after “the year The Walt Disney Company was founded, [and] celebrates the golden age of animation.” The dishes of the restaurant is inspired by California cuisine. This location is also a part of the rotational dining on board.
The restaurant currently has locations on the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny. Like Worlds of Marvel, 1923 will be adding a fourth location on the Disney Believe.
In addition to dining details, the vessel’s initial home port was announced today, along with what itineraries we can expect for the ship’s early sailings. More details were also shared regarding new entertainment offerings, dining venues, and an updated take on Disney Cruise Line’s Tangled stage show, in addition to an all-new Encanto show.
Disney Believe Cruise Ship
The Disney Believe will set off on its maiden voyage in 2027. It is being assembled at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. The first “gigablock” floated out in September.
The Believe is the fourth Wish-class ship following the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny. It’s the same size and shape, and has the same layout as its sister ships, but will have different theming.
A fifth Wish-class ship operated by Tokyo Disney Resort owners Oriental Land Company is scheduled to begin sailing out of Japan in 2029. A class of three smaller ships will launch in 2029 and 2030.
