Walt Disney World released a statement regarding the viral video of a guest diving into the water of Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros at EPCOT.

Disney Responds to Diving Guest

A representative for Walt Disney World Resort said in a statement to PEOPLE, “This behavior was unsafe and a clear violation of our park rules. The guest and his party were trespassed.”

This confirms that the video is real, not AI as some speculated, and corroborates comments stating the guests were removed and banned from the park.

The original video of the diving guest was shared by Chef Michael Collantes on Instagram. Collantes said this was the second guest he saw jump into the water and he was surprised security was not waiting at the ride’s exit. The ride stopped briefly due to the incident.

A video Collantes shared later shows the guests getting off the ride.

Though the group was not immediately confronted, Disney security caught up to them elsewhere in the park.

This isn’t the only off-limits swimming witnessed at Walt Disney World this week. Another viral video shows a guest swimming in Seven Seas Lagoon.
