After gaining the framework for a covered patio, the outdoor bar opening soon at Disney California Adventure now has blue wood paneling.
Paint and a Patio at Bountiful Valley Brews
In our last update from a couple of weeks ago, Bountiful Valley Brews had officially become a permanent structure across from the Grizzly Peak waterfall and to the left of the Avengers Campus entrance. The most notable addition was a wooden frame for what appears to be a shaded patio.
Now, the structure—which previously was wrapped in Blueskin waterproofing membrane—has been covered with horizontal wooden paneling painted sky blue.
The frame over the patio area is still open, so while it might be a pergola or trellis, we’ll likely see a roof installed soon for shade.
This space previously served as a spot for festival booths, Oogie Boogie Bash treat trails, and staging, thanks to the large brown wooden gates that can close it off from guest access. An additional green construction wall blocks some work from view, but construction is still clearly visible.
Bountiful Valley Brews
Bountiful Valley Brews, a new bar serving “light bites and brews,” will open at Disney California Adventure later this year, although we don’t have an exact date yet:

The upcoming bar is an homage to Bountiful Valley Farm, an opening-day land in California Adventure dedicated to agriculture. An original structure from that same land, the gazebo that was relocated to Paradise Gardens, was recently demolished.
