We got a first look at some of the decor coming to the themed staterooms aboard the Disney Believe, Disney’s newest cruise ship.
First Look at Disney Believe Stateroom Decor
Stateroom Carpets

Each stateroom deck on Disney Cruise Line’s Wish-class ships features its own unique theme based on iconic Disney films. The stateroom themes and concept art for the Disney Believe were recently revealed as part of a series of announcements regarding Disney’s next ship.
According to Disney, the non-concierge staterooms on the Disney Believe will be “inspired by characters and stories like Moana, Coco, and Inside Out.” Moana is also represented on the ship in the Grand Hall as the atrium statue, while Inside Out returns as the theme of the onboard sweets shop.
Guests staying in concierge staterooms will either escape to Neverland in rooms inspired by Peter Pan, or, in the case of “several special oceanview rooms above the bridge,” be transported to Andy’s Room with Toy Story-themed spaces. Buzz Lightyear and Woody can also be spotted as the signature stern characters on the Disney Believe.
The specific themes by deck are as follows:
- Moana: Decks 2, 6, and 7
- Coco: Decks 8 and 9
- Inside Out: Decks 10 and 11
- Peter Pan: Decks 12 and 13

During today’s preview onboard the Disney Wish, we got a preview of some of the various textiles used for the non-concierge rooms. The standard stateroom carpet features tufts of yellows, browns, blues, and whites in a starry, diamond-shaped pattern. Various woven red, blue, and dark fabrics were also shown, presumably set to be used for pouf cushions, sofas, pillows, and so on.

We were also shown separate samples of other carpet designs themed to Moana and Inside Out. Memory orb tubes can be seen stretching across the latter, and the sail on Moana’s outrigger canoe can be seen on the former. Hidden Mickeys can be seen throughout both designs.
Stateroom Mail Clips

Each deck comes with distinctive mail clip designs as well. The mail clips are all roughly oval-shaped and have the stateroom number displayed below in printed number and Braille formats.
For Decks 2, 6, and 7, guests will have a Kakamora (Moana) mail clip design, while guests staying on Decks 12 and 13 will have the flying Jolly Roger ship from Peter Pan featured on their clip design.

Decks 8 and 9 will have a Coco skull mail clip, while Decks 10 and 11 will have a mail clip themed to the memory orb transportation system as seen in Inside Out.
Stateroom Art

Several pieces of artwork were also shown, themed to movies like Coco, Inside Out, and Peter Pan. As Disney noted in an Instagram post shared today, artists first began by layering hand-crafted paper together before transforming those pieces into the final stateroom artwork guests will find onboard.
Many of these decorative scenes will be found framed above stateroom beds and couches, as previewed in earlier concept art for interior, oceanview, and oceanview with verandah staterooms.

More artwork themed to scenes from The Lion King, Moana, Toy Story, and Zootopia 2 were on display as part of the preview for Believe’s coming accommodations.
You can watch a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the artwork in the Instagram video below:
