Walt Disney Imagineering filed a new permit for Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at Magic Kingdom, suggesting the Tomorrowland ride will undergo more construction.
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin Permit

The permit calls for “General Construction” at the address of the attraction, 1305 Monorail Way. It contracts Icarus Exhibits, Inc. and expires in one year.
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin was closed for several months for a major update, including new vehicles, a revamped scoring system, and a new scene. It reopened in May after a brief soft opening period.
The “General Construction” description doesn’t provide details of what additional work is planned for the attraction but the contractor, Icarus Exhibits, specializes in immersive thematic design. Icarus Exhibits installed set elements during the ride’s reimagining. The filing coming from Imagineering also points to thematic updates rather than basic maintenance.
