It’s time to set your clocks to Pooh time, as we look at another Walt Disney World snack. We’re back on the hunt for a little smackerel of something… this time at Magic Kingdom!

If you love pumpkin pie, I think I’ve found your new favorite fall dessert at Magic Kingdom! The Pumpkin Sundae at Plaza Ice Cream Parlor is easily one of the best seasonal treats available at Walt Disney World right now, and you don’t even need a Halloween party ticket to enjoy it.

Before we get to the sundae, can we appreciate how adorable Plaza Ice Cream Parlor is? Every time I step inside, I love taking in all the charming details, from the decorative crown molding and pastel color palette to the classic checkered floor. It’s such a cute little spot on Main Street, U.S.A., and one of those places that makes me appreciate the details of Magic Kingdom. It’s reminiscent of a little corner in Disneyland.

Now, onto the pumpkin goodness!

Pumpkin Sundae, $8.29 | Pumpkin gelato with pumpkin-spiced caramel sauce, pumpkin brittle, and Halloween sprinkles.

Disney introduced this sundae as part of its 2026 Halloween food offerings, but unlike some of the event-exclusive treats, guests can order it during regular Magic Kingdom park hours AND during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
The pumpkin gelato is wonderfully creamy, with just enough pumpkin spice flavor without tasting overly sweet. It honestly reminds me of a frozen pumpkin pie, especially once you get a little of everything in one bite. My favorite part is the crunchy topping! The candied pumpkin seeds and pumpkin pie-like crumble add a delicious texture that works so well with the smooth gelato.

Of course, if you have a serious sweet tooth, the whipped cream and pumpkin-spiced caramel sauce have you covered. The caramel adds plenty of sweetness without completely overpowering the pumpkin flavor, and the Halloween sprinkles add a layer of festive [crunchy] cuteness, with little ghosts, bats, and pumpkins.
I’m a big fan of pumpkin desserts this time of year, and this one absolutely earns a spot near the top of my Magic Kingdom Halloween snack list. It tastes like fall in a sundae cup, and I’d happily order it again before the season ends. You do get a large portion, so I’d definitely recommend sharing one versus ordering two or more. This one gets a 5 out of 5 on the rumbly in my tumbly scale!
I found a nearby table with a castle view, and eventually had myself a nice pumpkin spice gazpacho...

Until next time, be grateful for your plateful!
