There are now mystery pin vending machines in Disney California Adventure and Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort.
Mystery Pin Vending Machines

There are three machines in San Fransokyo Maker’s Market at Disney California Adventure, two right next to each other and a third standing on its own. They are Baymax red and sit inside crates similar to the store’s shelving units.

Themed stickers on each machine help them blend in with the store.

A capsule is $18. One capsule contains one mystery pin.

At least for now, the mystery pins are the same at every machine on property. They depict various Disney characters popping out of capsules.
- Aurora (Sleeping Beauty)
- Simba (The Lion King)
- Winnie the Pooh
- Sir Hiss (Robin Hood)
- Queen of Hearts (Alice in Wonderland)
- Dumbo
- Footstool (Beauty and the Beast)
- Meeko (Pocahontas)
- Hatbox Ghost (The Haunted Mansion)
- Dopey (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs)
- Mama Odie (The Princess and the Frog)
- Flower (Bambi)
- Flotsam and Jetsam (The Little Mermaid)
- Platypus (“it’s a small world”)
- Hades (Hercules)

Two more vending machines in Pixar Pier are themed to Buzz Lightyear and Woody from Toy Story. They’re near the Bullseye Stallion Stampede game.

The last two vending machines are outside Star Wars Trading Post in Downtown Disney District. These resemble old, weathered metal.
Walt Disney World once offered a mystery pin vending machine during the 2023 Magic HAP-Pins pin trading event but they were never introduced at the parks.
