Disney has filed a new permit to replace a water tank at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort at Walt Disney World.
Permit Filed for Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

The Notice of Commencement was filed today, October 9, 2026. It permits Westbrook Service Company, LLC to replace a water tank at the “Caribbean Jamaica pool building.” The permit expires one year from now.

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is split up into several villages with their own unique theming. While Fuentes del Morro is the resort’s feature pool, the Jamaica pool is one of five smaller leisure pools.
Disney has not announced a closure for the Jamaica pool, so it’s possible the pool may stay open during the water tank installation. Last year, Disney replaced the water tank for the Trinidad leisure pool.
Roof replacement permits were filed a few months ago for Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort as well. And next year, the Disney Skyliner will be closed for refurbishment from January 24, 2027, through January 30, 2027. Complimentary bus service at the resort will be available during the closure.
