Celestial Park’s walkways see a different kind of traffic after Epic Universe closes, with a recently shared video showing cars, trucks, and a service van traveling through the park.
After-Hours Traffic in Celestial Park

An Instagram Reel shared by universallyspeaking1 shows several vehicles parked throughout and driving along Celestial Park’s main guest pathways at night. The elevated perspective appears to be from the adjoining Universal Helios Grand Hotel.
“There can be a lot of traffic in Celestial Park come nightfall 🚙,” the caption reads. Text over the footage adds, “When Epic Universe closes it’s gates…”
Vehicles visible include a black sedan, a red SUV, a white pickup truck, and a yellow service van carrying ladders on its roof. The Reel opens with the black sedan traveling along a pathway with its headlights illuminated. Celestial Park’s decorative lighting and colorful projections remain on, illuminating the pavement around the vehicles.
Utility vehicles, contractor trucks, and other machinery passing through guest areas after closing are a normal part of theme park operations. Overnight hours provide time for cleaning, maintenance, deliveries, and other work that requires access to spaces occupied by guests during the day.
Epic Universe’s layout makes some of that activity particularly visible. Helios Grand Hotel sits directly beside Celestial Park, with park-facing accommodations and public spaces offering expansive views across the central land. Universal specifically highlights the hotel’s floor-to-ceiling windows and views of Celestial Park and the rest of Epic Universe.

Those same sightlines also give hotel guests a view of the work taking place after closing. With much of Celestial Park visible from the hotel, routine maintenance and vehicle movements can remain in plain sight during late-night and early-morning hours.
