Universal Kids Resort has added another ticket option for frequent visitors who want something cheaper than an Annual Pass.

Universal Kids Resort Explorer Ticket

The Explorer Ticket is $69.99 per person, plus tax. It’s valid most Sundays through Thursdays from now until March 11, 2027.

There are blockout dates on December 20, 27, 28, 29, and 30. The resort will also be closed on select days.

The Explorer Ticket is only $20 more than a 1-day ticket ($49.99) and a few dollars cheaper than a 2-day ticket ($73.99).

It’s much cheaper than the Annual Pass options. The Gold Annual Pass, introduced last month, is $199.99, while the Silver Annual Pass starts at $129.99.

Universal Kids Resort in Frisco, Texas, opened this summer and is designed with young children and families in mind, with gentle coasters and water rides themed to franchises including Minions, Trolls, and Shrek. However, in its opening days, the park attracted criticism for its lack of shade and “Brutalist” concrete-heavy architecture. Check out our full guide to the kid-centric park.
