A previously blank wall inside The Magic of Disney Animation at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has received a magical makeover with a new photo opportunity inspired by Hexed.

Hexed Photo Op

The backdrop features three pointed arches framed by stylized brown tree trunks that stretch toward the ceiling. Green tile-patterned panels fill the arches, with gold illustrations decorating each section.

A large sun appears above slender flowers on the left panel, while a branching tree fills the center. A crescent moon and scattered stars complete the design on the right.

Artificial leafy vines climb the trunks, wind between the panels, and trail along the bottom of the installation. The dimensional greenery adds depth to the illustrated woodland backdrop.

Guests can pose in front of the wall using their own phones or cameras. A Disney PhotoPass photographer was not stationed at the spot during our visit.

Walt Disney Animation Studios’ upcoming Hexed follows teenager Billie Doe, whose discovery of her magical abilities leads her to the witch realm of Hexe. The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters on November 25, 2026.

The new backdrop joins the nearby Hexed character maquettes and concept artwork that debuted in September. That display includes sculptures of Billie Doe, her mother Alice, and the three-eyed cat Beef Roger Crummchuk with the enchanted cauldron Bucket, along with additional visual development material.
