Framing for the new ticket booths at Disneyland is now visible after the old ticket booths were demolished to make way for anew pedestrian bridge.
Framing for New Security Screening at Disneyland

In mid-August, Disney announced that four ticket booths on the eastern side of the esplanade would be removed to accommodate construction of a new pedestrian bridge over Harbor Boulevard.
In our last update, we noticed that concrete was being removed from the area within the construction wall strategically.

On our most recent trip to the park, above the construction walls and from the monorail, we noticed that framing has been erected for new security screening.

The framing is typical of other security screening structures across other parks. The structure is being built between the entrances of Disney’s California Adventure and Disneyland Park.

Inside the green-scrimmed-off construction area, there is various excavating equipment as they dig up and level a triangular section framed by concrete.

An aerial view of the scrimmed-off construction area can be seen from the monorail.
This demolition is the first step in preparation for a brand new pedestrian bridge connecting the esplanade to a new parking structure and transportation hub.

The pedestrian bridge will connect the esplanade to a new parking structure and transportation hub at the current site of the Manchester Cast Member parking lot. There will be approximately 6,000 parking spaces, 302 EV charging spaces, a dedicated area for shuttles and ridesharing, security, and dedicated access for traffic off Disney Way.
