The live-action Ariel meet and greet at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will temporarily move again to accommodate the Santa Claus meet and greet.

Live-Action Ariel Temporary Meet and Greet

The webpage for the meet and greet at Walt Disney Presents states, “Meet Ariel at Walt Disney Presents will be temporarily unavailable beginning October 28. Ariel will be greeting guests at Echo Lake, near 50’s Prime Time Cafe.”

Though the notice says Ariel will move on October 28, there are no hours listed for October 27, indicating the move may happen one day earlier or she may be unavailable for a day.

Live-action Ariel similarly moved to Echo Lake starting October 28 last year. The meet and greet space in Walt Disney Presents was redecorated for a seasonal Santa Claus meet and greet. Santa Duffy also met in the space during Disney Jollywood Nights.

We expect Santa Claus and Santa Duffy to meet in Walt Disney Presents once again.

Last year, Ariel moved back to Walt Disney Presents on January 12.

This is unrelated to the recent news that live-action Ariel would no longer meet guests at Disneyland Resort. The character has been appearing at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland since the release of live-action The Little Mermaid in May 2023.
