The giant Jack Skellington puppet that introduces Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party recently had a mishap: his arm fell off!

Jack Skellington Loses an Arm

DisneyWorldTom shared a video of the incident on Instagram this weekend. As Jack introduced the show, a portion of his left arm fell to the ground.

The show must go on, and the fireworks continued as normal. But the puppet did not return for the finale. Instead, Jack appeared in “B-mode” as a shadow on Cinderella Castle.

As Jack says in The Nightmare Before Christmas, “Since I am dead, I can take off my head.” Apparently that extends to arms, too.

After Halloween season, the Jack Skellington puppet appears in What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along at Disney Jollywood Nights.
