Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom, as well as its gift shop, will close for refurbishment in November. It reopens on December 18, and the Walt Disney World website now has hours listed for the attraction.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Refurbishment

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Tiana’s Bayou General will be closed beginning Monday, November 2, 2026. The ride and gift shop will reopen on Friday, December 18, just one week before Christmas.

Operating hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. December 18 is a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party evening, which explains the early closure. Tickets are still available for that evening.

It’s not unusual for water rides like Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to close for brief refurbishments in the winter.

In January and February 2025, the ride closed early on several dates rather than going through a complete closure. This will be the ride’s first major refurbishment since opening in 2024.
