Picture this: after a long day of traveling, you finally arrive in Disney World. You check into your hotel, unpack your suitcase, and then…head to the Water Park?

Well, if you’re staying at a Disney World hotel next summer, then you can! And we just found out that this perk has officially been confirmed for Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge.
There are so many perks when you stay at a Disney World hotel, from free transportation and Early Theme Park Entry to fantastic theming and more! However, one of our favorite perks happens only during the summer. That is free Water Park admission to either Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon on your check-in day.
Typhoon Lagoon
Meaning that after a long travel day, you can drop off your items at your Disney hotel and start your vacation right away. This really is an amazing perk and a great way to check out one of Disney’s fun Water Parks without having to spend extra money on a ticket.
Blizzard Beach
Well, it looks like next summer Disney’s newest hotel, Lakeshore Lodge, will also offer this perk to guests when it officially opens. Since Lakeshore Lodge is set to open in the middle of the summer, on July 1st, 2027, we were not sure if the perk would be extended to the hotel right away. But we are so happy that it is set to be included for any guests staying in those first few weeks.
Summit Plummet at Blizzard Beach
Lakeshore Lodge is being built on Bay Lake, meaning it is joining the iconic list of Magic Kingdom area hotels. This resort is set to capture the beauty of nature and wildlife, which looks to be a large focus in all the concept art we have seen so far.

Our favorite theming detail is that Pocahontas will be a major inspiration for the resort’s design, especially in the lobby and The Wetlands water play area.

And if you do stay at this new hotel over the summer, don’t forget to pop over to one of the Water Parks for a little extra fun on your check-in day!
