A falling phone found a fortunate landing spot on Goofy’s Sky School at Disney California Adventure: another guest’s lap. Before turning it in, the helpful guest recorded a message for its owner.

Lost Phone Lands in Another Rider’s Lap

TikTok user @llexxusss_, whose display name is Lexi, shared the recording after another guest discovered the device when it fell directly into her lap as her vehicle ascended an earlier section of the coaster.

Before turning it in, the young woman used the phone to record a message for its owner, laughing alongside her companion while still aboard the attraction:

Hi. Your phone fell, like, literally in my lap on Goofy Sky School. I hope you find it, diva. I love Conrad. Team Conrad forever. I’ll give it to the people at the lost and found. Love you. Bye.

Lexi confirmed the phone was returned in the post’s description, writing, “Shoutout to the girls that found and turned in my phone yesterday at California Adventure!! May her skin always be clear, her pillow always be cold, and her personality always be great! 😭🫶🏻”

The woman’s “Team Conrad” declaration references The Summer I Turned Pretty, the Prime Video romantic drama based on Jenny Han’s novels of the same name. The story follows Isabel “Belly” Conklin and her relationships with brothers Conrad and Jeremiah Fisher. Fans identify themselves as “Team Conrad” or “Team Jeremiah” depending on which brother they want Belly to end up with.

Based on the comment, we can assume Lexi’s phone wallpaper featured Conrad, portrayed by Christopher Briney, or at least some other image related to The Summer I Turned Pretty.

Goofy’s Sky School is a compact roller coaster in Paradise Gardens Park at Disney California Adventure. Guests board flight-training vehicles for a ride featuring sharp turns and drops along 1,200 feet of track, climbing three stories into the air.

The flight-school theme draws inspiration from Goofy’s “How To” cartoons of the 1940s and 1950s, particularly the 1940 short Goofy’s Glider.
