The holiday season is just around the corner at Walt Disney World—quite literally, as in the case of one of Disney Springs’ ornate and oversized Christmas trees.
Preparing Disney Springs Christmas Trees

A WDWNT reader has shared with us several photos of an enormous, decorated, disassembled Christmas tree sitting on flatbed trailers near Walt Disney World’s distribution and logistics facilities.
The tree sections appear to match the massive Christmas tree traditionally displayed in the Town Center area of Disney Springs.

The reader spotted the sections along the northern end of Buena Vista Drive, a roadway connecting Disney Springs to the town of Windermere and other points north of Walt Disney World property. The area along the drive is home to several facilities used for the resort’s operational and distribution needs.
Several of the tree sections were parked on oversized flatbed trailers outside a large warehouse marked “DC-4.” The photos show four or five separate decorated sections secured to trailers, with one section appearing to form a much thinner middle component compared to the other visible layers. The pieces appear to be awaiting transportation or further assembly ahead of the holiday season.

Each of the large tree sections is densely covered in artificial evergreen branches, colorful ornaments, and sweeping gold garlands. Oversized silver ornaments, reflective baubles, pale blue snowflakes, and red-and-white striped bows are visible throughout the decorations. Gold garlands are arranged in swooping patterns, with red-and-white bows positioned at intervals along the garland and greenery.

The wide, cylindrical sections would be stacked vertically to form the tree’s towering, tapered silhouette. This segmented construction allows the massive display to be disassembled, transported, and stored between holiday seasons.
The sections photographed by the reader do not appear to include the tree’s narrow upper portion or illuminated topper.

The Town Center Christmas tree is one of the largest holiday decorations at Disney Springs, towering over the surrounding plaza and storefronts. The completed tree is usually surrounded by decorative fencing and wrapped gift boxes at its base.
The same tree could be seen as part of the 2024 and 2025 Disney Springs Christmas Tree Strolls, when the Town Center tree served as one of the event’s flagship displays. Disney Springs also held a special tree-lighting ceremony in November 2025, officially welcoming the holidays to the shopping and dining district.
Christmas Tree Stroll Returning in 2026

The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll is returning for the 2026 holiday season, alongside other seasonal offerings throughout the district.
During the 2025 Christmas Tree Stroll, guests could explore 19 themed holiday displays featuring characters and stories from Disney, Pixar, and Star Wars.
Themes included Coco, Frozen, The Haunted Mansion, The Lion King, Moana, Toy Story, and Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, among others. Some displays also featured special MagicBand+ interactions.
Guests could pick up complimentary maps and matching stickers, locate the decorated trees throughout Disney Springs, and turn in their completed maps for a prize.
Disney has already confirmed the return of the Christmas Tree Stroll and other holiday entertainment for 2026. Additional seasonal offerings include nightly snowfall in Town Center, live entertainment, and a Santa Claus meet-and-greet.
